will starview 5 work in n.yorks

hi all,just bought a starview 5 off ebay,looking at the posts i'm doubtfull if it is going to work,especially as i recieved a new smart card a few weeks ago,i'm on virgin in harrogate,n.yorkshire,anyone got any info,or should i not open it and put it sttraight back on ebay,cheers all.

if you recieved the card a couple of weeks ago why did you buy the box before asking?

didnt know about the nag3 situation,until i read up on this forum,looking for the firmware download,ordered the box sunday,would have thought the supplier would know where it would'nt work and would have said something,ah well live and learn,anyone want to buy a starview 5,cheers all.

I bet loads of suppliers will be desperate to offload boxes soon.

Sell it m8 as soon as you can, Starview was a bad choice anyway before N3.

have applied to get a refund under the distance selling rules,as he is registered as a business seller,you have a 7 day cooling off period if it is a buy it now item,lets see how forthcoming he is to refund me,will let you know how i get on.

hi paid ?82, including p+p,just got a refund for ?75,he was a good guy to deal with,but looking at his feedback he is still knocking them out like hot cakes,oh and he lives in leeds,cheers all.
