starview box crashes

Hi all
im a newbie so please bare with me.
ive had my starview for 3yrs now and its been good to me....until now.
i switch on my starview now and it freezes straight away then switches itself off after about 10 seconds then switches itself on then does the same again.it keeps doin it until i plug it out the wall. when it freezes the sound carries on til the box resets itself. any suggestions? thanks.

m8 tryin puttin this in the starview section u will get more replys

try switchin off at the back and back on
make sure all leads are in ..esp scart leads.....if u can get to the menu do a factory reset

thanks 4 ur help m8.just posted it into starview section. checked all leads already but havent tried accessing factory setting. will let u no how i get on.thanks again

hi easy d .it so easy to sort out ,have you got the latest firmware on ur box,download the gtrom 8.02(latest firmware )and fix it you dont even need to put key manually,cheers,reply for any help,happy to help,thx m8

NO as he has not said what box he has ,until identified see name on front of unit first,as trying to flash wrong firmware may brick it.
