sky sports problem using digivox-t

was thinking that could be an issue. his one was in kerry and mine is in south tipp. we work together. that why i was thinking of doing a full reset.

i did a factory reset and powered it off for a minute and did a san again. must say its a lot better and both sky news and sports 1 come up but are a little pixilated.

how do i check the signal strenght on the digivox t. will all the different channels vary in strenght?

Signal button is on remote, shows level and quality. (small round button)

lads do any of yee have a problem with the frequencey number 322000.i have no picture on them channels.and i done a scan and picked up itv2.im on ch...us southern irl.

The only other thing i can think of right now, is to make sure there are as little joinings as possible on coaxe cable from downconverter/ariel to psu and from there to digivox t, straight runs if possible!
TBH, sounds as if signal not good enough in your area! Even splitting signal for second box with non CC equipment can cause signal prob.

im in southern area no problem with frequency, i do no after the bad weather lot of people had trouble with signal from movement possible in aerial.. what are levels if levels are below 60%you will lose some premium channels i.e sky sports

everything is all well again they just came bck on earlier.i have itv2 also since 2day if u wanna try and scan 4 that.

ya. heard chorus adding extra channels for mmds users ,, what a great service they provide ..

no channel scan finishes at 100% and box is finished scanning then,dont forget to switch emu on after you scan,if you press set default key and exit out the box will go into update mode anything from 60%-240% and then picture comes on.
cable is only for flashing/updating firmware it wont erase with a factory reset.
always best to factory reset first 0000 to delete,power on converter and scan.

sorry to bring this trend up again. just got time to start messing with the box.

the signal strenght is good but the quality is average
for example
rte 2 signal 83% quality 74%
sky sports 2 signal 84% quality 67%
eurosport signal 83% quality 49%

i still cant find sky sports 1. the levels are high but the quality is low. eurosport is very pixalated and scrambeled.

how do i improve the quality and what freq is sky sports 1 on?


another thing. on the system information window the S/W version is V03-3.0000T. is this correct?

theres serious frost and fog at the moment will interfear with signal the antenna is froze solid no holes in them so must be the downconverter and cables
