ITV HD is exclusive to Freesat mate (although you can retune a sky box to receive it) and Sky Sports HD is exclusive to Sky Satellite..

I've had the V+ service for over a year now.. its excellent in my opinion.. The number of HD channels has increased dramatically lately.. it was just BBC HD when i got my subscription and now its..

      FX HD
      MTVN HD
      National Geographic HD
      4HD
      ESPN HD

ITV HD is expected this year at some point, but the best thing is the sheer number of 'on demand programs' and 'on demand movies' the fact it has BBC Iplayer also..

      On Demand is HD also

i know what your saying sky+ hd im thinkin as better, but ive only just signed up for a 12 month v contract, because i wanted a starview s usb, but thers soon the useless arent they, the only downer with v+ is no sky sports hd, also i heard sky sports wont give virgin the skysports hd is cus they said you havent got enough sky sports subscribers any way, ( because of pirate set top boxes)

I personally would go for Sky+hd. I got it a month ago cost ?30.00 for a new installation. Get about 30 hd channels and you can tuhe to ITV1 HD as well.
A lot of the programmes on so called hd channels you get via virgin are sd. ESPN HD has 1 hd programme today the rest are sd.
