sad day announced for notts

hope im in the right place for people to take notice .ive been told from a very reliable source who is an engineer for v----n that the whole of notts will be changed over to the nagr3 encryption as of next month.usually id say yea yea but he told me they were about to hit them the last time and as predicted they did.ive been informed that as of 16th17th18th of feb2010 they are switching the whole of notts over ,killing cloned boxes,eurovox,d,box ect ect.they has just started sending out the new cards b4 next week.my sourse is panicking as he has dodgy boxes and they cant do squat about it.so take it as gospal or leave it,its up to you but im off to sky as i cant do without the tv.it was good while it lasted,,,booohoooo

old news m8 we have known about it for a few weeks, cheers anyway, by the way im from nottingham and so is another member who has had a new box + card ( i aint got a card yet )

Nottingham is still on 3.6 firmware they won't send out new cards until the area is updated to 3.7.

Well its probably true, it wont be long before the whole Country changes anyway.

I am assuming its going to take a few months longer than the " Easter " Prediction, just going off how long its took to convert Leeds, and some of the Midlands.

I am not sure what the hold up is in doing the whole country , but i assume its either down to " money " or " they dont want a meltown in their system, with an overload "

so i think thats why its taking a few months at a time , making sure each change is error free, but once half the country is done , i bet the rest will happen fast as all the bugs will be ironed out by then.

Yes Im in Notts aswell and in a very recent thread the other member had been sent a new box and card, but the new card was definately not a new nag3 card...

According to the press statement they did say the Midlands will change over by end of feb whether that is East or West is not known.

well till i get a new card i will take everything i hear and read with a pinch of salt, i know its going to happen but will take a bit longer as aftermath said but who gives a toss, i dont

im in notts to i no 3 engineers all still useing rom11s and thay ant being told nothing fore sum reason but we all no its coming to an end but i do no thay are setting on more engineers
