digivox t problems

hi all.im new to this so bear with me.i bought a second digivox t.it had only 3 channels working and it wouldnt allow me to access the secret menu.the s/w version was different to my other one so i switched off both boxes and hooked them up and transfered the code s/w and the channel data from the first to the second.got into the secret menu and turned on the emu and put in the correct codes but the signal is showing zero even though i can put the ariel into box no 2 and route it back from no 2 to no 1 and no 1 still has signal and is working fine.i done a factory reset and done all the rest but still no signal.im in southern ireland and on mmds.any help would be greatly appreciated

are ya sure ya have the cable coming from the first box to the second in the right connection
its under the antenna in the first box

theres also a newer firmware for the newer digivox t box that might be the problem with your s/w if one box is working try flashing the other with the other firmware the old one is v03-3.000T
and the new one is v3330_090806

they are both on s/w version v03-20000t if this helps.both now have the same settings in the system information but second box is showing no signal even though the signal is going through it and back out to the first box which has 82%

is ant power switched on,as you have to switch it on before scanning.

ya the power was and is switched on during scanning.if i rescan i just get stuck in the instalation menu as no channels are found

I have just switched on my digivox t and can only get 3 channels. Worked alright last night and has done for the last 12 months.

By the way, if latest firmware is loaded to box, there is no need to enter the keys manually!

If its a new digivox T flash 'digivox_ter_v3330_090806' if older flash v3300.bin. no need to manually enter codes then!

as said factory reset first oooo to delete,power off at back for a min/on power on antenna and autoscan your provider,set default key and emu to on,exit out.

Hi all, also flashed my "new" digivox-T with the latest firmware. All channels came up BUT with some funny numbers!
How do l get the channel name to show instead of TVand some 4-digit numbers?
Like ITV was "TV4205". Other were in such sequential order -- TV4206, TV4207, and so on.
I know l have seen it somewhere but l have searched all around for it and cant locate it again.
Will appreciate if someone can direct me.

BTW: I used firmware 3330-090806, Ch*r*s MMDS
