    Virgin media box help

    Hello

i was planning to buy a d box 2 but soon vm will encrypt there signals etc basicalyy thayd only work for another couple of months, so i already have a splitter got one cable for the tv in living room and one in the bedroom.

i have a normal virgin box in the living room, i would like to buy a virgin box of ebay and put it i the bedroom, could i watch two different channels at the same time ? and also would this box still work after the virgin media encryption thing ?

    many thanks

You can use 2 boxes but you must phone virgin and tell them that you have the other box. A small fee is charged monthly for having an extra box.

You wont receive the channels unless you tell virgin you have the extra box.

when the encryption changes they will
send new cards out to there customers
as for the ebay box you will get the free to air
channels only. it wont open any of the other
                  scrambled channels.
