Bradford and Portsmouth areas - boxes down?

from posts i can see on here and from i see elsewhere the South of England (portsmouth area so far) is getting hit this week with something but they have not received any new cards.. some have been down since the early hours of Tuesday morning.. so far its the DMs and dboxs that seem to be suffering the most but eurovox users seem to be ok after a deep scan.. although with masses of duplicate channels.... Bradford also seems to be getting something similar..

Has anybody heard anything on the grapevine about what is going on, these users have not received new cards from vm..?

There is a national loss of TV and broadband scattered all of the country since yesterday according to VM web site maintenance,
So looks like the normal ~~~~ing around.

Is there any way that a new firmware update will be created for N3?

none are saying broadband is down.. one states that just after midnight (early hours on Tuesday morning) his subbed went down for about 10 minutes and then came back as if vm were sending code to it which they normally do about 3am ish... straight after that his dm was down has not come nack after countless bruteforce scans... As stated above he too has not recieved a new card which would indicate a nag3 rollout is not happening there yet..

Please, this is not going to turn into another nagra3 thread...

1841 (ie N3) has been introduced to the Bradford area this morning. No one is saying that N1 has been switched off. (Not me anyway.) You don't need a new card when a new stream is introduced, only when the old one is switched off.

did leeds follow the same pattern e.g. a new stream and then new cards? I can't remember off the top of my head the sequence of events leading up to their switchover...

That's what happened, yes. The 1841 stream was present a long time before any cards were posted.

N3 has been introduced, no new cards yet so a slightly extended stay..... matter of time for switch off, if its anything like Leeds only subbed will work by the end of FEB.
