Heard recenlty that in the near future virgin are going to use the same encryption that sky uses. Can anyone shed any light on whether or not this is going to happen?

welcome to dk kalrizian they are changing to n3 and yes its already started in yorkshire and its coming to an area near you reports say all done by easter. hope this helps -
your information is slightly incorrect... sky uses NDS and vm cable uses nagra1 currently, a higher level called nagra3 is being rolled out across the uk and is already in use in other parts of the world for the last few years.. no it is not broken, nobody knows when or if it will be broken... if you wish to read more about it then type in nagra 3 into the search box at the top and you will find too many active threads on the subject..Last edited by caveman_nige; 26 January, 2010, 14:54.
