    I need help i bought a LG42 full HD TV and a sunsung HTZ120 dvd home cinema system I am trying to connect this to my tv which is lg 42 lh3000 model but i can not get sound from the tv when i play dvd its works the surround well maybe i doing something wrong please tell me how to connect it correctly this is connections on my dvd player

    these are connections on my dvd home surround player
    1)video out then aux in(l and r)
    2)green socket(written y)
    3)blue socket(written pb)
    4)red socket(written pr)

    on my tv connections are(component in)
    video green socket(y) blue socket(pb),red socket(pr)
    video written l&r then there is optical digital audio out then there is also a socket written audio in (rgb/dvi)
    please tell me how to connect and what types of cables will i need

    maybe nothing at all is wrong,even my dvd and blu ray players wont let sound to tv.

      If the home cine doesn't have an optical then you can use red & White phono to red and White phono. On your tv the out will have a circle with a small arrow pointing outwards on it and the cine system will have a circle with an arrow pointing inwards. Otherwise u can use 3.5mm jack to red n White cable and go from the tv headphone jack to the afire mentioned on ur cine system. The source on ur h/c should be set to aux I'd reckon aswell. If that's no use then goodluck .
