Best quality HDMI cable does not equate to a better picture. The cable is carrying a digital signal which is simply a stream of 0s and 1s so a cheap cable can give you exactly the same picture quality. Do not be conned into buying something you dont need.

How goods the quality of the copper? What's the bandwidth of the cable and the equipment capabilities? Will it fall to bits through time? Is the sheilding ok or will the cable pick up outside interferance?

( if an old metal coat hanger could pick up a signal for your tv then what can a cheap hdmi pick up )

you get what u pay for but don't spend too much. And if u do ,get the monster ex1000 as it is a cable for life and monster will exchange it for a new cable if it can't meet future requirments.
