    Best HD box?

    Hi chaps & chappets

I've been using a Starview 1 for years but seeing as i've just bought a 50" plasma i want to upscale to an HD box and was wondering what is the best one out there?

Also, where would you recommend i buy it from?

You do know cables ending don't you? You'l only get a few months from an HD box but if you determined go for a Starview HD Combo seen good things about that and it also has the satellite option for when cable goes pop. STARVIEW HD COMBO LAN SATELLITE AND CABLE RECEIVER - ?219.00 : Wizard Satellite, Satellite receivers, dishes, lnbs and equipment

We stock the Kryptview DW800 HD receiver and I think most everyone on the whole is happy with this...

That said in all honesty and at the risk of doing ourselves from a potencial sale, with the inevitable due to happen at some time this year and the fact that cable still only carries half a dozen channels, why don't you do yourself and your new TV a favor and think about looking at HD satellite instead?

It might or might not be a bit of a learning curve for you but you can be sure you'll benefit so much more from satellite over cable when it comes to HD content...

        Cheers guys,

I had absolutlely no idea cable was ending soon. Does this mean our current boxes will be rendered useless?

I'll take your advice and go satellite. Bit of a learning curve tho as i've no experience of having it. Any help on what i'll need to do would be very much appreciated.
