Any other use for cabel boxes & Starview 6

Does anyone know if cable boxes can be used to pick up freeview TV through an ariel or Sat TV ?

Just trying to think of uses once N3 come in.

The Starview 6 looks interesting with the Ethernet port, anyone seen any reviews for it yet?

They (existing cable boxes) should pick up freeview channels.

I honestly see the starview 6 being like the Spiderbox, and if there is too many on the same card then it will freeze..

Most Cable boxes will only pickup channels 1234 and 5
Anything else will be a bonus
But wont pick up free to air channels like a freeveiw box

Benefits of the Cable box is that you can stream to any PC on the network....

You can record to a network drive as well...

I'll just flick the switch on the back of my OpenMedia and use it as a FreeSat box.
