just for the record Branson does not own Virgin Media, as far as I am aware they own a small stake in the company but use the Virgin brand name

I was thinking about this could it be the oldest areas that will be done last or areas with the largest number of boxes(could be same) that will need replacing as these areas will cost the most. Just a thought.

Well the latest info that I have is that the following areas will not be going off in the foreseeable future (within the next 6 months).

              Liverpool
              Birmingham
Manchester (I know this has been posted differently elsewhere)
Hartlepool (expected to be same for Middlesbrough)

Areas may go to 3.7 but this doesnt mean that your area will be gone in a few weeks. We are looking at anything upto 12 months for total rollout

Believe those areas plus a lot of others will be on for good while yet.

If you arent in Nottinghamshire, Watford, East London, certain parts of Yorks - don't worry yourselves so much. When a card finnaly does come through your door you are looking at around 2 months from that point - but this is a tiny proportion of the country. The vast majority will be on for 6 months +

The main point is, when its gone its gone. But enjoy it instead of panicing so much, by the time the end comes youlll have had at least 6 months more than you thought

Better news than I thought then if true.

Would St Helens in merseyside be un with Liverpool? I scan the Rainford transponder?

all we have to do is say goodbye to free tv and start paying for it. we have had a good run with free tv now we pay simple as that.

all this stupid speculation about when is gonna stop and when getting new card etc. we all know is coming to an end so enough of this.
