Yeah, i'm not thick or anything!
Got something SIMULAR this, paid a whole quid for it, got a MAX232 chip
in bedroom, the 78L05 got hundrads, but spend to much time here on DK.
It's next to the gas hob in the kitchen, with a pile of err 'cards' - pre-used
for educational use only.
It's serial use.
Just woundered.

To tell the truth, i pay for, Broad band, telephone and basic tv
(adding basic tv make it cheaper)
As the tv license people have NEVER been round, and get hundrads of
letters from them (putting them in post box, makes them come back again)
Just spend more time here on DK than anything else.
The TV receiver box was untouched for over a year in it's box, with only
the cable tv engineers fingerprints on it.
It is now currantly in a un disclosed location, in use. (Reletive)
Have no intreast in tv, DK is far better than ANY TV, find what you want
when you want, the only repeats on here, that seem to come up time and time again is 'Fiat Ducato Immo off' threads, otherwise everything is fresh on here, not seen elsewhere.
Got a pile of s*y boxes, and 'standard cable' boxes that should you want them, you can have them with pleasure?

i am an absolute beginner for this technology, what exactly N3 means, when i done a search in google, it showing something related to nhs.. i got a cable box receiver(the box super..) the person who fit it for me came often as i mess up with the box , and always i end up paying ?15.00,(4-5 times ) so my question is does i need the guy to come over again to fix my box , if the N3 come to my area,i am in sout wales , newport area.. hope some one can give a reply in simple language. thanks in advance...Comment

You should have taken some time to learn how to do your box yourself. It may be too late now. Look for info on nag3 and areas that have migrated to the new encryption system

I live in falkirk got new cards a couple of weeks ago,channels have now started to go down.
good while it lasted.Have to give satelite a good read up,see
if going that route may be better.
