oh dear, my brother lives there, time to sort sat out for him, may as well book holiday flying from manchester, and fit him a system while im there, im in gloucester, no cards delivered yet in bristol, are headend, this was explained to me today by a mate who works there, said 2 months left, but ive had enough, wish it all went tomorrow.

changing to nag3 takes a month or so m8 from when u get your new card, they do so many channels at a time, here in nottingham we got a new card about a month ago buy luckily havnt lost to many channels yet.

The roll out in Barnsley and from what I read most other area seems to have been halted. We went through 3 rounds of switch offs leaving just Sky Sports and a handfull of other channels and then it stopped and its been like that for almost a month.
Something seems to have changed, either technical or motivation wise. I think it may have something to do with the ruling that Sky should let virgin have sky sports at a reduced rate so Virgin know they will be more competative for the next football season so they have kept us happy up to the end of the season.
If they turn Sky sports off this week (an I think they will) then a lot less footy fans will wait till the strat of next season before signing up to Sky Sports by which time Virgin will be much better placed to offer deals.

Was it the same sequence with Asian channels going first followed by Sky Sports a few days after?

South Shields & Birmingham

I've got family in both South Shields and North Birmingham and the boxes are still working. No sign of new cards through the post and since i updated to 1.12 we've had no problems ... yet!
