Hi people! I have a old silver samsung ntl chiped box that went off this morn, i also have a eurovox which is fine but this highlights the fact the end is almost upon us! I know the cards hav'nt been dished out round here yet but i'm expecting one soon, so i was thinking of getting myself a dream box and a dish! Do i need anything else 2 pick up satelitte an is there any point in getting a motorised dish? Any advice would be really helpfull!

Obviously with a motor setup, you wil get alot more free to air chans, if you have no dish mounted already, in my opinion, beter off to go with the motorised setup, for a few dollars more.
DM500s is a good and cheap way of starting for beginners(not that i'm an expert or anything).
At least with linux box, you can go the c/s route if you want to after a while, well thats my 2 pence in anyway!

Also, check out your cable connection to unit that is down as n3 has not hit your area yet as eurovox is still working, may have something to do with updating card in unit, but i.v no experience here!Last edited by tomhick024; 12 February, 2010, 11:27.

Just to let you know, c/s in depth discussions are not allowed here, so any further info you will have to google it mate!

It depends how the guys who run the pay servers operate.
Offshore servers. Encrypted data etc.
But on the same token there could be snitches sat paying for the service to see what keys are being used to spreadComment

People just want to instil fear into others. if a payserver can be busted, the same thing can happen to anyone sharing even with close family friends.
Cable will be gone in few weeks across UK, only way forward now is to find these payservers until you get your own card and exchange with others.
I have head many websites which sale CS being shut down by the web host company not police or satellite broadcaster.Comment
