    laoding software with no pc

    Hi all
I dont have a pc only a laptop, so i don`t think i can use the r232 cable to load softwear onto my digvox xl usb. I am persuming i can load the bin file onto a memory stick then load it onto the digivox via usb at the rear of the unit.
Is this correct and can someone explain to me on how to do this correctly?. I have tried on one box already and got a 8882 message on the display and had to send it back to the suppliers.
i am hoping for them to return it and then i will have to attempt adding the files again is there any do`s and don`t to take note of. Also am i correct in thinking that if i load the softwear through a memory stick i dont need downloader 10.
Any help will be appriciated just want to clear a few things up before i get my digivox back

yes all you need to do is put software on stick, put it in box and load it.

but, always turn power on box OFF before inserting or removing usb stick, this is what caused problem on your other box.

usually putting software/firmware onto the box voids the warranty.good if supplier exchanges .
