North west channels

Hi,

Started last night, lots of channels saying 'No Signal' some of them are free to view like channel 4. Done a couple of re-scans and still the same.

I'm guessing this is a fault and not the dreaded N3 virus, anyone else have the same issues? any thoughts?

yes mat e its the start of switch off some movies /ch 4 / bravo / sifi / disney ch / theres amassage on the fraude ch say if you lost channell ring this no no qusetion asked and we give you a good package and price

Utter crap- no probs with the DM 500c. Just do a re-scan. People need to stop these messages of gloom which have been appearing since last year.Remember everything was supposed to go dead in December? Well life is still sweet. Enjoy for as long as you can and get yourself a proper receiver.

I own up to total ignorance here but my question was and remains this.

Today several channels are going to a blue screen with an info message saying 'NO SIGNAL'. Now in my ignorance I would have thought that even an N3 system needs a signal to decode so I still suspect this is a systems fault in my area and not the onset of N3.

What can I expect to see when N3 arrives, is it this 'NO SIGNAL' message or is it something else like a scrambled screen that my box can't decode?

I have too lost some channels and its the N3 roll out!

seems that way but i lost some and got most back ,only ones i cant get are comedy channels.

Hi,

Well i have no idea what it was but I lost channels on my eurovox and SV5.

I factory reset both and rescanned loads of times, no joy. Then around an hour ago repeated the factory reset and re-scan and both boxes up will all channels working

no channels have gone, I'm in Manchester, some of the frequencies have changed, have a look in some of the unnamed channels (TVCH1, TVCH2, etc)
or try scanning frequency 282.000 for channel 4

If N3 was rolled out in your Area u would have NO CHANNELS not just lost a few only channels you would prolly have is FTA

got a ddigital box and all channels bar the basic ones have gone off (last night). tried reset & rescan a few times with no joy. i know a couple of people with eurovox are still working. anyone else experiencing no signal Liverpool area?

up and running again. put the keys in manually from bigmaq toolbar and channels cleared straight away

you must have the june 07 firmware on it then,or you would have had to reflash it,cause you cant acess that on the latest firmware,enjoy it while it lasts

no m8 all eurvoxes dead and starviews, including the starview 7 which has gone done due to the server going down. this is an old thread m8, always start you own thread for the best answers.
