hi m8 even if u do buy a hd box off fleabay chances of the net id bein rite are small, so u would have to sort the net id out, and even when that is done u will still only end up with fta channels the record functions wont work ither that only works if u subbscribe using that box. hope this as helped u...

thanks chief, i figured as much but thought it was worth asking... i would imagine VM would "switch me on" if i asked them to with a box like that and charge a monthly multiroom fee then.. just they charge a lot of money for an extra v+ box....

i think im going to have to fix my satellite set up, the snow ruined it and i lost my football

          Hi,
I have also a V+ box in one room and a standard box in another but would like to upgrade to another V+ box. The trouble is I've phoned VM up on a couple of occasions and they have quoted me ?150 each time. Has anyone out there had a second V+ box from VM any cheaper?

Call cancellations and tell them you're off to Sky-I got a V+ box for ?49 not ?75-as an existing customer you don't pay ?150-if you want multiroom see what they can offer you-they are always keen to do a deal to keep you-don't muck around with customer services, cancellations is what you need.Phone 150 if you have their phoneline and pick the option "thinking of leaving?"Hope this helps, craig.

              Hi,
Thanks for the info. I called the VM cancellation department and I have now ordered a new second V+ Box for ?49 instead of the ?150 I had been quoted by them on two occasions. It will also be installed this week. Great site keep up the good work DK and lets get this N3 cracked asap.
