Hi,
i only have a few channels on my digivox xl usb i have scanned auto and manual also factory reset but still the channel names appear but no picture can anyone please help? and tell me what i am doing wrong?

have u turned the keycode/emu back on and pressed default?? menu..sys infro...1004 on remote to open secret cas menu ..turn on keycode press default

better to read up on nagra3,all areas changing and 100% blank screens to follow.

No offence but that's what people keep saying, I know all about it but we are in areas where it stills work and no new cards have been sent out (i.e. places like Greater Glasgow)

We are asking for help and your not helping by repeating what other people are saying and giving information that is not relevant at this time.

Newer boxes of various makes are showing blank screens, with free channels working including some pay like slysports 1 but not 2 or 3 etc. Then there is some in the same streets or different rooms with all channels working and same type of box. Also some with none at all.

But the older version of boxes have all the channels working everytime. To me it seems like the ones that have problems are the ones that hold the Virgin Media channel order.

first of all ...try a factory rest ..remeber to turn the emu/keycode on and press the default button as well....if that doesnt work ...check u have the lastest firmware goto ststem information and see wats installed then check against wats the lastest in the red stickys for ur particular box .....download lastest firmware. then do a auto rescan. keyode n default on......this normally solves 90 per cent of problems in boxes in non nag 3 areas ...prob the best tip for these boxes is read thro the threads 99.9 of these question s have been asked before ..again n again

I did read most of the threads and know a wee bit about the boxes etc. (got fed up when, like this one, it's repeating it's self).

Everything you've said I have done.

Don't mean it to sound as if I am moaning I'm not really, it's great that you lot all help us out.

Some boxes work fine, some not at all and some have a few channels.

The really old boxes work spot on.

People are reporting the same as me - mixed bags.

Will check tomorrow see if the software has changed. No change so far.

xl usb v1.07 is the last one,also i presume you know to scan from wall to box only,no splitters etc.,when channels are on list if you press the set default key and exit out to a sly channel can you see box update?

I cant seem to find the emu key is this because this is the usb version of the digivox, please tell me how to get to this screen. appreciated x

hi i reset my digivox xl usb to factory setting and lost all the chanels, please can someone show how to put the code to access the emu, i believe the code is 1004, however i don't know how to input it. many thanx for your help.

Try this a coup[le of times m8 see what you get :

Frequency change fix
1 Menu
2 Factory settings
3 type in code ( 0000)
4 press ok. this will delete channels.
5 Then Hit Installation
6 Change provider (Eg n*L etc)to which ever one used in your area.
7 autoscan ( when it says *** channels found , exit back out all the way until u are back at the scrambled/no signal 'tv' screen)
8 Hit menu again
9 go into sysrem information
10 press info on remote and type in 1004
11 new screen appears , change EMU to on
Then exit back out all the way until u are back at the scrambled/no signal 'tv' screen and hey presto your sorted !

DBOX II: All Sky movies and Sports channel gone, Only FTA channels available.

If you have some but not all of the channels, and the encrypted ones are working (using the emu) I would suggest you wait for 20 minutes and then rescan.
I have had this problem recently on old and new boxes and patience is all that is required.

v 1.07 firmware??

I can't seem to find a useable v.1.07 for digivox usb xl. I am currently running on 1.03 and think this may be the problem. Any ideas please
