think youll find its a v+ box there are a few people with them in my area, engineers sell them with cloned card which needs updating every now and then. for another small charge

As close to certain as I can be that this is not an N3 fix its simply either a fun, atmega or MOSC fix. ?40 for that is daylight robbery. Most likely one of the first 2 as a MOSC with a good blocker is the most robust emu of them all.

Buy a programmer for less than that and do it yourself although not worth it now.

It was the only way at one point long before the plug and play boxes or even the linux boxes.

Ted are saying you never knew legit boxes could have a hacked card??

My neighbour still has the old first VM digibox and his card seems to never go down as it updates itself or something.. and I know what he means cos before I got my DM500 I remember the boxes all went down and my cousin use to take them to his programmer friend and fix them all.. but one day he couldnt do it and the box was left back at my house and without me knowing it I plugged it in and it worked as if the card had somehow been updated.. maybe this was something simple but it just shows that I could have paid 20quid for nothing

That box was soooooo damn slow, so I compromised for a DM500 to learn the ways of wrongful doings..
