Digivox XL down in Greenock

my Box went down2 nights ago, tried a factory reset then rescanned for channels, it only brought up 80 channels no sky sports no bbc no nothing, just tv 10825 etc

any ideas folks?

Page 29 of today's sun news paper may give you some answers. Big bit about vm beefing up encryption in it and how it's starting to spread thru Scotland. Atleast it's all official from the paps now so hopefully we can put it to bed.

same here in newcastle went off last nite 9 3 2010 got it bk on today at 10am done few 4 ppl got 4 bk on and 2 coundnt get on dont how long it will last tho

tv100 etc,usually a signal issue scan from wall socket having done a factory reset first.you should see names of channels and emu to on,if they dont update your on n3,possibly.

Am from area and rescaned digivox xl last night for my pal. All channels working m8 ... Try this will no splitters.

Frequency change fix
1 Menu
2 Factory settings
3 type in code ( 0000)
4 press ok. this will delete channels.
5 Then Hit Installation
6 Change provider (Eg n*L etc)to which ever one used in your area.
7 autoscan ( when it says *** channels found , exit back out all the way until u are back at the scrambled/no signal 'tv' screen)
8 Hit menu again
9 go into sysrem information
10 press info on remote and type in 1004
11 new screen appears , change EMU to on
Then exit back out all the way until u are back at the scrambled/no signal 'tv' screen and hey presto your sorted !

tried this mate but flashed it again with the firmware on the menu page done everything you've said there and still nothing at all? n3 i take it?

plenty of nagra 3 posts stating where it is at the moment.look there first.

Bailliebhoy....If your channels m8 were working before the other nights changed freq, then should be no reason for you NOT to get channels back on using the wee tut i posted m8.I have gave that tut to 3 people in my work and their boxes all working.(one said he had to rescan 3 times to pick up ALL channels)..u are defo setting it to NTL and then at end turning EMU to ON... Are you finding channels when u do AUTO SCAN ???

i also have digivox xl in dundee, scotland. Im guessing it will go off soon. do i just loose the encrypted channels, but still get the FTA ones? I hope so.

Low signal no sky

Follow what is said exactly the problem is the signal remove splitters and rescan. Mine worked. I am off to uy a decent dplitter with low db loss
