Depends what box you are after mate.

A dreambox is very good but takes a wee bit more work than the plug and play variety to get up and running. Its not difficult you just need to read the tutorials in the dream section. DVB seller as previously posted are ok.

There are other boxes, eurovox, starview, kryptview, digivox which are all pretty similar. A google search will reveal a host of sellers of these boxes. I have had all of these boxes and think the kryptview and eurovox are slightly better but theres not much in it. Its really down to personal preference as i am sure other some other posters would choose the other 2 boxes.

Dont pay over ?80 for a kryptview or ?95 for a eurovox.

I think a dreambox will be more sustainable if anything is changed by the cable provider, however as the above post says its more complicated.

google "itgate" for great boxs very like dreambox, but not a clone, and 2 year warranty

i dont really understand why you all refer to DB clones so much they shouldnt be reccomended and newver boxes like DB 600 pvr are now available

If you look at the bottom of the page there is an advert for the Linux blackbox. This box has the same inside as a dreambox 500 but has a better tuner and there are lots of guides and software downloads on this forum. It's cheap and its fairly easy to set up.

Its not like they have any competition? I wonder if this will mean a rise in prices?

itgates are as easy to set up as a starview,..if you read the guides it,s childs play
