the chances of there ever being a fix are unlikely. N3 has been active in the US and many parts of Europe for a good few years now and it's hasn't been cracked so far. a lot of these are much bigger customers than the UK market - just because VM has gone N3, a fix is not likely to appear.
rule of thumb is :
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
1) Channels get mixed up - N1 and N3 streams are being tranmitted (whats happened recently)
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
2) New cards start arriving on door mats (currently happening across the country, see the list of areas)
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
3) 3-4weeks after new card arrives, N3 takes over and N1 is swtiched off.
The bit I didn't understand, was when this was talked about ages ago it was said that the boxes as well as the cards would need to be replaced, but now it seems just a card replacement means N3 ?????
