Hi i lay down in bed to watch comedy central and boom the box froze i restared the box and no channels, done a re-scan the usual 306 Transponders found channels and it looks to me as if they have a major re-arrange i got only 6 movie channels its all mesed up i havent looked properly yet as im going to bed but thought id post this online and only 2 ~~~~ channels hmmmmmmmmmm not on

All virgin in the birmingham area has gone off. you will have to wait for new fix. They are meant to change the codes 2 to 3 times a day to stop people watching it for free.

I'm getting most the channels after re-scan at least I haven't gone off all together, I can see me getting a load of calls later on on the day haha

~~~~ channels have gone to 40s from 3000 on my starview and the PPV live events. The channels are messed up thoigh and there are too many duplicates

so far wide of the mark it's untrue. such a short post but so many incorrect facts.


Here's whats happening; (going by all the info we have)

They'll be re-organising all the channels and frequencies, standardising them with the rest of the country ( as whats been happening for the last few weeks all over) getting ready for the swtich to N3. Now they have done this (and the sub'd boxes are running 3.7) the next step will you will start to receive new cards for sub'd boxes. 3 or so weeks after that, the N1 stream will be turned off and you will lose all channels.

As for a 'fix' for N3 - there isn't one.


So, until you receive new cards in the post, you can still see the channels, they ARE still there you'll just have to re-scan for them.

I'm in Brum, re-scanned a few times and I'm hardly getting any decent channels. All sports barring Eurosport gone, all movies and about 80% of all other channels.

Lots of duplicates and various test pages also seems to be killing my starview. BARSTEWARDS!

My starview went off early hours this morning, done a factory reset & scan all up and running again, there are a lot of duplicates but all movies & sports are back ............. for now.

Does it make a diff if your using 8.02 or 8.04e on Starvue3 Super
Also another question as Starview 6 is out My understanding is its made by diff manufacter and uses diff technology does this by pass the new Nag3 technology they are rolling out?

I have a SV4 and have been using v1.07, updated to v1.12 and did a rescan and everything is back now, but for how long

Read 1 of the many many threads on N3. There IS NO FIX.

maybe i wasn't clear enough - NO FIX! N3 has been around YEARS in many other countries. Just because little VM has gone N3, doesn't mean a fix will arrive. there's no fix. No fix. nada.

the only chance MIGHT be card sharing which can NOT be discussed on this site.
