Opinion Poll - Will Nagra 3 be cracked in the future?

To many threads about "iz it cracked" "can is be cracked" "nagra 3 has me!!! ...oh no, I didnt turn the tv on"

Lets just have a poll and get the general opinion of DK for people to refer to when trying to judge opinion on if it will be cracked.

i totally agree that there are too many threads on this subject ,we all knew it was comming and subsiquentlly no more frree cable .well most of us have been using various boxes for years amounting to millions of pounds worth of free subscription telly.the upshot is we cant moan but iv read post after post on nag 3 whens the fix oot ,is there a fix ect .there may or may not be a fix who cares get out and live your life.take up fishing,golf ,go shopping with the missuswell maybe not with the missus.but you alll know were im comming from.be happy ,dont worry and enjoy yourselves.

never said it would be cracked,however i seem to remember about somthing called enigma during the war supposedlly foolproof that got cracked.any way like you i dont care.

The poll is the general answer given by the forum members. If anyone wants to start another thread to find out if it will be cracked, only an opinion can be given. The opinions are here in simple terms...Yes & No!

Maxi, the "get out and live your life" part of your reply was a bit bone to be fair. Tv is a luxury when you are not busy. We have robbed cable for years yes, but that does not mean I want them to now start robbing me with their overpriced packages.

I used it for sport, and a few kids channels. Sport is sorted though a site called flashsportstreams. If you can link your PC/Laptop up to the TV, even better. Google it if your a sports fan. Best site out there.

Funny poll. i wonder how many that will/may 'vote' will actually contribute to the 'cracking'. or even have the slightest idea as to what is involved or how long it takes. how many that read these threads have picked up a logger. or programmer.

this poll is like asking who thinks its gonna rain tomorrow.

No encryption is totally secure but N4 might be out before we see a hack.

If it can be made it can be broken down again.
I don't know jack about encryption or how it all works, from the past few months of reading all I do know is that it's 1 big money train. If of when n3 falls the next level of security will be there to take it's place, it just has to be bought and implemented. And then begins the cycle again.

during the war enigma was not cracked but the code machine and code books were picked up from a sub .
once they had both the machine and the code all was good but till then it was hit and miss .

so if some one can get hold of the original coding then as said any thing is posable .

sorry i dont have the brains for that , lets hope brenchly park reopens its doors for the sake of us cable people
