Dont extract anything mate.

Just put the tarball (rar file un-extracted) into to var/etc folder.

then reboot the box.

I see this was actually original instruction that I did read carefully enough. However, I tries this now. Put install.tar into var/etc directory. Unfortunately I still have same result. Ideas gratefully received.

Put on kaos 1.1 image, put keys into ver/keys and var/scce
restarted on ss1 and that did the trick.
