    Virgin media code AP 52

Hi, I have a contract with virgin media, the cable is split ,so goes into 2 seperate rooms. I can transfer the one box between rooms works no problem, decided to buy a second box, the box was purchased from same area as I am in.
Does not mater which room I conect box in all I get is AP 52 on box, not sure wether it is against there policy to do this, and this is why fault is happening. ANY HELP WOULD BE WELCOME.

Should still boot to FTA without a card in, surely? AP52 is usually a sign of a knacked CIM or blown caps or similar, ain't it?

            Cheers- AL

Thanks for your replies, just dont understand if it was working a week ago, why it will not boot up now, unless somehow you cannot operate two seperate boxes of one cable, even with a splitter??

isnt ap52 a comms confirmation, often displayed during reboot and comms is re-established between the set-top box and VM
