can anyone tell me how these boxs work through the internet and if u have to pay and how much to get all cable channels and to who?

Yes they will but not all areas as yet irland and north working at mo but will be every were in the near further but if going down this road then look at sk you get full hd and more channel but if like dont want a dish then just wailt a while and you can get it on s 6
