Im puzzled !

Im sorry to have to ask this question, but here goes.
A relative has a starview box, working through the modem only, he doesnt have a subbed box, and hes been like this for bout 5 years, if he hasnt a subbed box, how will he get nag3'd if he wont get a card?
Sorry if there is a logical answer and maybe im just thinking too hard.

My understanding is that you do not get FTA from cable on non vermin boxes. All you get is channels 1 to 5.

u wont get all fta, vm encrypt the fta as well, when vm change firmware i loose nearly all fta on my eurovoxes
