if you are caught using one i would say then yes,boxes are nearly a thing of the past now that nagra3 has arrived.

The boxes are not illegal, but it is illegal to receive PTV channels that you are not subscribed to, the only way you could be fined is if a engineer actually saw the box working on a PTV channel and if someone allowed this they deserve to get fined...chuck

I had VM Engineer in to work on phone line and saw the box and laughed and got suspecious a little but nothing happend bcoz he din't see any premium channels running, He did ask if I had FREE Premuim Channles and I said no it's used for FREE VIEW...so U r cool...anyway, its too late all boxes in BIN and NAG3 has taken over

these guys dont give a shit.. ive had a dodgy box for years, had to get vermin in when i wanted to take out their broadband. the engineer wired up broadband, phone and vm box, then asked the missus "do you want me to wire your dodgy box back up" , turns out they went to school toghether and the guy new the score, fckn great service. got a vermin box in the cupboard thats never been swithced on... honestly, he wired up my arnett 700 box and told us to keep the leggit box just incase... quality..

the decision was made that it will be cheaper to use contractors to maintain their service, they dont give a toss, you also have the same with murdock where his contractors are dodgy as fcuk,,,there on crap money and you cant blame them for using their knowledge ,,

There was a rumor that they were dishing out on the spot fines doing door to door in the wigan area, then i know for sure a load of boozers were done in bolton! i think the wigan rumor was a simler thing to what happend in bolton an they was'nt on the spot fines!
