Channels are back
I am from denny and all my channels went, i lost pretty much them all apart from, 1,2,3,4,5,bbc3,bbc4, itv2,3,4+1's. Didnt have itv2,3,4 normal.
I done a channel update on the ex1000 sl and i managed to get some channels back so power scan was in order, so i done so and i have most of the channels back apart from the sports, movies and a few others. one that i find strange is ppv events, or box office if you want to be proper about it, its back on..... being that its the channel that costs the most i figured that it would be the first to be switched to nagra 3. Does anybody know what exactly is going on?
it looks like denny is picking up most of the channels again and i have had my new card for about a month now.
does the fact that i dont even use a virgin media box come into effect? i didnt have VM tv in my house but they gave me a free box with the freeview channels about a year ago but i didnt use it so i gave to my my brother and he uses it in his house, granted he only gets the basic channels.
does anybody think that the fact i dont have a VM box in the house might come into play?
all i know is i had 15 channels working previously and now i have 130?? its not the 260 it was picking up originally but its better 15 anyday!?
one last thing i want to say is...people should not switch to VM/Sky at the moment with the on going court case between sky and the fair trade side of the entertainment world, as far as am aware sky are expected to lose and prices should go down but on the other hand, doesnt europe get there channels and stuff for so much cheaper than we do in the uk?
Everybody is talking about N3 not being cracked but who else in the world apart from the uk is paying ?60 for the full package on the tv???? who else has the desire to cut the costs on their tv bill?
