came home the other night to find my broadband and interactive tv services not working and a card through the door saying there was a problem with the supply to my house and someone from the networks dept would call the following morning.i removed my dbox and all cables and when they turned up they said they had been monitoring the noise in the area for 2 weeks and had traced it to my property. i was told the noise was caused by a lose connections on my setup or non standard virgin equipment !!
he asked to have a look around my house which he did and he then removed all excess cables which i had running to my upstairs from my previous set top box which i replaced with the dreambox
he told me that the engineers would just be calling randomly over the next 12 months to check the noise on my line !
they obviously knew i was using the dreambox thats why they have told me this !im just so pleased i wasnt n the previous day when the engineer knocked on my door and wanted to check my system !
looks like im going to have to subscribe to skysports and start paying !!

...if not it's still cheaper than sly and you could use your dbox again with a splitter.
