N3 in belfast

i cant get channels to work and have been told that belfast is a n3 area. can anyone confirm or dispute this ? want know if its the n3 encription or me making mistakes , hopeing for the latter.

as i said a couple of weeks ago in a post n3 cards are in belfast going out with new installs also if a fault teck go's to your house good chance he will replace your card with n3 one talk is they wont to full switch till they have done about 80% of people not sure if that is true or not but do know cards are here as i have seen one

had a new card from sept. last year when i had to change from analog. dont know anyone who has recieved a new card in the post as yet

Mine's still working away (DM500)... .. and everyone I know with some different boxes and all scattered around Belfast are still going strong too

My VM has been off for yrs, I run off the cable anyway, thankfully they didn't kill the line.. so I cant really say about receiving new cards or getting letters and what-not

in what way do you mean ALL of Belfast still not N3 yet receivers have had update its in stream and new cards are going out in new installs or are you just saying because they have not started to post out new cards to people yet

they may stream n1 and n3 so old boxes will still work it is when the n1 stream is switched off then game over.

to clearify, i'm saying they have not posted out new cards yet

Been told by a very good Vermin source(not engineer)that N1 and N3 are running together in the Belfast area and that all work must be completed by September.Yes new cards are being issued with new installs but come September N1 will be switched off leaving all eurovox's etc useless

yes both nag1 and 3 are running in belfast according to my dreambox

Old news. NGTV upgades were completed early June therefore all the cabled areas that have not received cards yet are running the N3 stream along sides the N1 stream.
