i thought they had to be close to transmitter to pick up a signal like 15 miles,so curious if bbc1 etc be got, rabbits ears or the new indoor aerial may help
broadcast in the clear so no decoding

Hi,
I live in a mmds area. what i did is take the antanna lead out of the box pluged it into back of telly. and tuned on the vhf frequency and bbc1 bbc2 utv ch4 sky news and rte 1.i live in co louth. they have been sending that signal out for years without a box.once you have an aerial and a psu there is no problem. and that can be split around the house.
