VM V+ Box

Hi, my mum pays for cable and has the old silver box in her house. She is sitting with a 42inch plsma tv watch cable tv and the silver box does not do HD.

My friend got sky in today, and rang VM they dont want the box back old model or some crap, hell I cant even get my v+ box repaired by VM keeps bringing up stuff i deleted they say its a software issue and they are working on it but i dont want to have to reformat the box again.. ok thats a diff story..

Ok back to my mums cable .... my m8 is giving me his V+ box for my mum to have hd and I want to know is it simply a case of sliding the card in the back or will i have to ring virgin to get the card paired with the box and will they do it ok or will it be a song and dance...

Maybe a song or 10 while you are on hold for the Scottish robot woman, then you find you're pissing in the wind as box and card have to be paired, box belongs to them so not transferable to different customer, you need them to supply you with a box and paired card
