Is there a new box out?

Hi all,

I have been using a nokia Dbox2 for years and as N3 is now in it is now a large digital clock under mt tv.

My Father has said that some guy in the pub is selling new boxes for ?200, I asked him what it was called and what did it use i.e SKY or Virgin but he did not know anything.

I have tried to serch the countless section to see if there is a system that can work but i can see any.

Dose anyone know what the freind of the father is talking about????

p.s i told him not to do anything till i recherched it

yes there are ways. starview 6 or kryptview a780 for cable, or for sky, dreambox and google cccam premium, i prefer sky route.

There is a Starview 6 cable box that you can get, that needs to be connected to the internet. It connects to a server. From what i've heard about them they are off more than they are on . Read up on that box as much as you can before you buy one. I think they are about ?120.There are also sat boxes that do the same.

the sv6 and kv780 work by cardshare m8, the kv780 is supposed to be best, but c/s on cable is risky the servers can be shut down fairly easy, and the recievers can also be traced because of being connect to the net.

?200 jees. You can get them for ?150 off ebay. You will also need homeplugs at about ?40.

im on virmin but can i still pick up if i go back to sky as i still have my dish up what box do you need on sky? do you have to have a package with them to get a signal? paying ?68 for sports package its killing me after n3

krypt and starview are cable only boxes,sky box is a sat box.
