Virgin v+ HD Box to PC

Is it possible to access the hard drive on the Virgin V+ HD box the way we used to on our D-boxes via FTP or some other way?

If so can someone tell me how to for example which connections are require on the PC and what cables etc?

i have looked into this myself for quite some time and I don't think it is possible at the moment. I would love to find out how to do it though
