DB500C or STARVIEW will it work in the US

Just wondering if the db500c or starview will work in the US? will I get premium channels, currently i'm getting basic channels which i don't care to watch. I'm subscribing broadband internet service thru charter cable a Time Warner Cable company, Thanks for any response!

It depends what encryption the cable company uses and how they handle keyrolls. You would need to find that out to know for sure.
