Nagra area, new smart card with VM, still got sports??

Hey, I'm in East London and I had a VM cable with a Starview box, then with Nagra I gradually lost movies, then sport over the past month, so now I've decided to pay for it with VM (engineer calling next Thurs). I put in my new smart card in my old VM box and yesterday I noticed that I have Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports News??? Is this just a marketing ploy by VM to give you the sports for a while for free as a taster? Has anyone else got this?

Rumor has it No Teams are even working on it ! and are happy to leave cardsharing the Prodomant method of Decryption for the Time being.

Cardsharing Receivers manufactures are making a lot of money at the moment, an open Hack for N3 will upset sales.

are you talking about your sv or subbed box? you will get the odd few channels on the sv for a short while.then they all go, bar 1-5 and 1or 2 more. if you mean your subbed box, they can upgrade via telephone in minutes.... mine was...

yes that is what i was told 2 months ago, there is something that works on n3, but it costs a lot to get started, so will shift cs cable boxes for now, then who knows what will happen. thats why i have avoided cable cs.

I am talking about my old VM box that i plugged back in once my starview box stopped working. VM are sending Engineer out as I want the V+ HD M package, only have a bog standard box at the mo (on the M package). Still don't understand why i have SS1 though?? maybe it is just a promo...and should go ahead with getting it all legal.

probably just a freebie... ugraded to xl , no sports, just get spts news, lfct and espn, so not too bad.. v+ is brill....
watch most footy on the pc...so wont pay more .

I can't bear to go back to Iraq Goals & buffering after having the Starview box so that's why i am paying for it now. I was quoted ?35.49 a month for TV, broadband, phone and SS1 and 2, which I thought was a bargain. I told him i wanted a large hard drive (!!) so i assumed the package included V+, but just looked on the website and that is supposed to be another fiver a month, so i bet what he quoted me was without that. I wonder if I can blag a V+ HD box from the engineer when he calls - if I sweet talk him?? Would they take a bung for this?

if you ordered a v+ box,think thats what you'll get...never looked into the "deals", just upgraded to xl...for "her"

Very much doubt the engineer could give you a v+ for free since it needs its own subs.
