cable box advice please

hi i have had several eurovox boxes before. last i had was a e5100pvr i gave that to my brother and was going to get a starview hd combo but my brother lost all sly movies and sports and cant get back on i live in oldham and a few of my friends have same trouble now is this due to Nagra3. i dont want to be wasting 200 pounds on a hd combo and it not working also will the lan port on the box make it future proff as some poeople say in their advertisement of the box

it is due to n3 that your boxes are losing channels little by little, however there is the option of boxes with lan that are working in n3 areas with starviews and kryptview boxes have a read in them 2 forums, all will be revealed!
