Help Please

hi realy sorry but am not up to date with all this technolgy, could someone help if possible i have a star view 5 box and i live in the liverpool area (kirkby) i have lost quite a few channels mainly sky channels sports news an movies, tried a system restore an still now working is ther a new firm wer that tha i need to install? maybe

also when i autoscan for channels most r found sky channels r found the signal is full green but then dont work

Nagra 3 or areas receiving new cards. Basically it's the end of free tv

in plain english all cable boxes cannot talk the new language called nagra3 so dont work no more.
