splitter help

Just received my cable extention kit the splitter that came with it is a ESI-03N 3WAY SPLITTER TWO OUTPUTS AT 6.1db and one at 6.5db my question is what plugs into what ie broadband in and cable tv in i also got a TRIS-1002AEN Isolator one i have already inside my house fitted by vm engineer do i need this extra isolator and were is it attched .
Just want to make sure i have everything set up correctly for when i get my receiver. thanks inadvance for any help given.

wont really make a difference what is plugged into what m8 as long as the input feed is in the correct place, you can try removing the isolater already fitted as a splitter will reduce the signal anyways
