Total newbie help ?

I have used the search function but cant really find what im after.
I am totally new to after market stb's after being screwed over by Virgin, and want to get back to my channels. I dont have a clue how after market stb's work and how you get the channels on them, and i dont know which one to by as there are so many out there !

Can someone take pity on a total newb or at least point me in the right direction please ?

N3 or nagra 3 is vermins new encryption that makes all non subscribed boxes useless,No rescans or firmware updates will fix this.There is no fix for nagra 3

have a read in sat section, and google cccam premium, this is the way forward.

Mate, i understand your interest in learning more about cable boxes...

And this is one of the best forums around for learning about them tbh.

There are a lot of changes coming up though which will change everything. Search for nagravision, N3...

It will save u a lot of grief + cash....
