Newbie Help Needed
Hi everyone.
I have a few questions.
i have done a lot of reading and i am a little confused.
1) i realise that the only free way to get vermin is to use kryptview. is this correct?
if so do i have to buy a kryptview A780 box or can i buy Starview HD box combo with LAN.
The only reason i ask is that it seems like the cable hack scene may go down permanently. if this is the case then i can use the starview box for satellite sly channels via a minidish. The only problem with the sat scene is that there is a yearly subscription whilst there is not one for the cable scene.
Please can you confirm if the above paragraph info is correct or have i got confused again!
2) is there any other way to get vermin or even sly free i.e no subscriptions.
if so, what boxes are required and what equipment.
3) are the boxes mentioned above i.e the A780, starview combo reliable and what is the quality of picture.
if they are not that good, what better alternatives are there?
4) i have read tutorials on how to setup krptview box and how to flash it with a null cable. Can you direct me to a reliable and easy to follow tutorial for kryptvie and starview boxes for cable.
5) i note that you need to connect ethernet cable to router and box but is there anything else i need to do i.e some kind of login or password/ registratyion. can you explain purpose of ethernet cable and whether there is a server or something i have to log onto?
6) For cable access to vermin i believe i need the following equipment:
kryptview/starview box
null cable
ethernet wire
internet connection
is the above correct.
