thats only in there contract?
what if technically the cable feed is already there, and there is currently no subscription? technically you havent signed any agrement to agree to any terms and conditions? so thereoetically, its your box if its a linux one, and possestion is 9 10ths of the law, if they didnt want you to have it they should have removed the cable fully till you pay for a connection. or cut you off at the box.
and what if you once had cable and cancled the contract?

i dont know why cable dont do something like sky.....
i.e. buy your own box and get 200+ ftv channels.... rather than just channels 1,2,3,4,e4 and 5 i think you get on cable.......
compared to 80+ on freview.....
im surprised they dont do something like m$ when you have a dodgy copy it annoys you with messages, then offers you a cheaper alternative to becoming legal..... etc.....

if you think it about it your getting something for free when others are paying for it.Ultimately if everyone had box no one would pay and the provider would not be able to continue service, however interestingly vm does not make money on the tv as such because most channels are owned by sky and they have to pay sky. They make money on phone and bb so of course its a serious threat but vm was on verge of collapse last year and ntl year before.
it would be an interesting argument in court but ultimately i dont see any judge agreeing with the ones that are avoiding to pay.Comment
