@nosebleed - those are satellite keys, you don't need all those lines. You only need the nagra keys starting 'N 5401' or 'N 5A01' or 'N 5C01' (depending on what area you are in). You can delete all the other keys.

You can delete everything, save it, restart the emu and see what it's updated it with.

Aye, tried deleting everything from that satalite () one, but it isn't even AUing the SoftKey.key at all, even after installing a fresh mg_cfg which is set to { 01 } it just stays blank

I am right in thinking SoftKey is for MGcamd aren't I? Gonna try another couple emu's like evocam to see if they edit a blank keylist or whatever

Hi does anyone know whether when a new image is flashed it resets all the keys/emu's etc? I made the mistake yesterday of putting a new image on, and haven't been able to get it to recieve all channels - may be missing or have incorrect keys/emus? I've tried the manual and ftp key entries to no avail. can anyone suggest an image that works in full and pm me a copy? or some advice on what to check? I'm currently using blade quad on sagem 1x. cheers

Auto Update question

Firstly, thanks to everyone who is working hard to resolve our little problem, its much appreciated.

My question is: I have a DM500C running the Neutrino Dream Plus Ultra v2.03 image, if I update the keys manually & I get premium channels back & then disable the auto update keys function in the Blue button menu, should that stop me losing the channels again?
I've read that VM are sending out bogus keys to fool the boxes to update with the wrong keys, is this true?
Also, can someone actually explain how AU actually works (or doesn't at the moment)
