hi, you may have noticed ive just posted a similar question, upon re-reading the intro thread i noticed you may have to wait up to an hour before you can dowload after posting...so just keep trying and it will work before long!

you supply it with the ip address of your dreambox and username+password which should be root and dreambox (providing you are connected to your dreambox with your home network/crossover cable).

not tried to flash the new codes in as mine still works fine, but tested it and does show latest codes. this will make life simpler than using keymaster if it works then just need to sit and wait for the full fix

Ok folks, don't exactly know what's going on today. Is it a genuine problem with VM? Have they changed the keyroll method? I'm sure we'll find out soon enough.

There's a PC application that will give you the keys and they work.

The keys are not auto updating for me so manual entry of the keys is required. Either FTP to the box and edit the /var/keys/Keylist.txt (evocamd) or /var/keys/Softcam.Key (mgcamd) file with the new keys or use Tuxbox Commander or another plugin to edit them. The files will most likely have more than one line of keys, the top two are the ones in use, you can delete all other lines. In the KeyMaster application, there is a space between each set of two characters, there should be NO space in the keylist.txt file, it should be a continuous line of 16 characters (0123456789ABCDEF).

Using the KeyMaster application, the keys still need to be updated by someone at the other end, it's not an autop update program so if they are not workig, give it time, don't be posting that it doesn't work.

If you can manually edit the keys on your box, you'll be ok for the short term.

EDIT: There is also an automatic key updater for those who have direct ftp access to their box, two clicks and the keys are updated.

downloaded the keymaster link at the bottom of your page but file wouldn`t exe when double clicked after unpacking.
went back and followed your auto updater link and works a treat on sv4usb.

Hi everyone....This site is simply GREAT. I managed to get latest keys for st**V**w today using key master. BIG Thank you to all the Brilliant people.

All who have doubts about how to use keymaster.rar should download "winrar" application first (its available FREE from any software download website) and you may also need "dotnetfx" from Microsoft website. Its an application called Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0. You need both of these application to open and use "KeyMaster"
