It will be the manufacturer who will have to crack it and release new firmware otherwise all their boxes are on the scrapheap.

Its been less than a day. BTW the boxes are not down as such, their ability to AU is, so a manual update is all that's required at the moment.

my starview 4 has lost nearly all channels do i need to get updated software. last one beta 8 september is starview 4 usb the same software as starview 4 the box super

I have a Starview PVR, at seems you cant turn the auto update off on the box so when you entrer the keys manually they get overwritten. If you turn off the emulater, then it wont display any locked channels. Am I missing something obvious to get it working?

hopefully something may be released days or weeks but be patient thats all I can say...however if you are that worried due to lack of TV channels why not subscribe to Sky or Virgin on the top end package that way you get them all (I have the full Sky package so this current issue isnt bothering me that much)
